Civil Disobedience

Would you have been able to use civil disobedience and non-violence?

I would be fine protesting, until some one used violence against me. It would be very hard for me to let some one push me out of the way and me not do anything back. If the police would leave us alone then i would just go my way way protesting. If they used force against me i would be very insulted. It is not O.K. for them to use violence and not expect us to fight back.
